Life Lately

I have really been loving this Christmas season this year. The girls are so excited and maybe I'm even more excited than them to see them open their presents on Christmas. :)

Last weekend we rode trax to Temple Square to see the lights. The girls loved riding on "Dada's train", but it was so crowded! Seriously, never go on a Saturday ha. We met up with Leland's brother Kent while there.

We had to wait in a long line to see the Christus statue, but the girls loved it. They have an obsession with statues. When he started talking to us, Esther just couldn't figure out if it was real or not ha. She is ao cute.

Now that Adele is weaned, I rock her to sleep for naps, so my phone is filled with a bunch of pictures just like this.

Our ward Christmas party was also last weekend. It was a Polar Express theme and they went all out. It was really fun. The girls got to see Santa at the end. Adele wasn't afraid at all this time! I think because she saw all the other kids in front of us sitting on his lap. She sat down and showed him Mimi. :)

We have been stuck inside so long because of this horrible inversion. Legos are always our go to, Esther loves them.

On December 4th we had the first snow of the year. Esther was so excited! She loves snow more than anyone I know. Adele falls down once and then wants to be held the rest of the time. Esther was so sweet and pulled her all over in the sled. I pulled them both for a bit too. We are really hoping it snows again soon so we can get outside again!

Also, I just have to give a shoutout to Leland. He doesn't make it into many pictures, but we all can't get enough of him when he's home. He just finished an online class he had to take this semester, and he got an A of course. Doing all his reading and assignments while on the train to and from work. Also he got employee of the month this month at work 👏 all while helping Adele when she wakes up at night so I can sleep and getting up for work at 5am. He is the best. ☺

On a walk back before the weather was bad. The girls love taking walks to see all the Christmas decorations and Esther is getting really good at riding her bike.
