2019 Disneyland Trip!

For our Christmas gift this year my Mom took all of us to Disneyland. We kept it a surprise from the girls until after Christmas when we headed down to my parents house. The girls opened their princess dresses from my parents and then she told them about the trip. It didn't really sink in until later but they really loved the dresses haha.

The next day we drove to Anaheim (which took 3 hours longer because of traffic 😬) but the kids were really good. We had some issues with our air bnb and had to move to a hotel but other than that, and Adele waking up at 5am (why!) it was a really good trip! The kids did well being off their normal sleep schedules and Adele and Israel napped well at the park. Since 3 of my siblings went we had a lot of adults to take turns staying with the kids so we could go on rides. Disneyland is good though in that there are plenty of fun rides that even Israel could go on.

The girls meeting the princesses was so sweet. They got to meet Belle, Adele's favorite (I'll add those pictures later), Ariel, Snow White, Elsa and Cinderella. It was so precious hearing them talk to them and beliving 100% that they're the real deal. Esther asked Belle "How is the beast doing?" And asked Ariel "Where's Melody?" Haha. They both gave good answers. Adele wore her Belle dress all day, all three days except for a brief hour where I got her to take it off for the playground.

Adele wasn't afraid of any of the rides she was tall enough to go on. Even the roller coaster she said was fun. Esther was brave and rode some of the big kid rides she was tall enough for. On one roller coaster she had fun at first and then started saying "enough, enough" and "stop this thing!" towards the end. Still she wasn't upset and both the girls were in happy spirits almosy the whole time.

The girls were so exhausted they both fell asleep as soon as we got to the hotel each night.

Israel was fascinated with Ariel haha.

Lelands favorite: Incredicoaster
My favorite: Tie between Peter Pan and Incredicoaster
Esther's favorite: Everything!
Adele's favorite: The Little Mermaid ride
Israel's favorite: The fireworks, he was so cute watching them.

Despite being ridiculously overpriced, Disneyland really is magical! I'm grateful we were able to go and make these fun memories with our family.
