Israel at 13 Months

No official photo shoot this month, but Israel has grown so much this past month that I have to document it. Israel started saying "Mama" right after his birthday. He says Mama and Dada to get our attention and it's so cute. He also is not shy about crying for "Mamamama" when Leland has him and he wants me.

He can say more words now too. Hi, cat, all done, 'kay and maybe Esther. He also knows what the lion and snake say.  He loves lions and will play with his toy lions and growl haha. He loves animal sounds and will always stop crying if he hears Old MacDonald Had a Farm.


He loves to stand and gets the proudest smile on his face when he does. He has taken a step here and there but no walking yet.

He has picked up the concept of baby sign but usually prefers to wave his chubby hand in the air and yell until we figure out what he wants. 😂

He has major stranger danger and doesn't like to be held by other people. After a crazy 3 day nursing strike a few weeks ago he is back to nursing in the morning and before naps and bed.


He loves his sisters, sleeps relatively well and still naps 2x a day. He won't sit still for anything and is a little wild child already. We love our baby Israel.
