Memorial Day Weekend 2017

As is becoming tradition we went down to my parent's house for Memorial Day Weekend.

 2015

We headed down on Friday night. The girls did fairly well. Look at the pretty sunset as we were driving down.

On Saturday morning we went to Snow Canyon State Park to do some hikes. None of us had ever been there before and it was really cool. We did a very short slot canyon hike and a longer walk afterwards. The girls did well there despite it being pretty hot. Adele took a nap in the car and fell asleep eating cheese crackers lol.

The girls had fun with all the people to play with, Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents. Hopefully they'll have some cousins to play with soon too. ;) They loved being in this little pool, the sandbox, playing with the dogs and the trampoline. 

On Monday we went to the lake. Esther was so excited for the boat and loved playing in the water. Adele was pretty cranky but finally passed out on my lap. Look at her adorable long eye lashes :)

Don't mind the chair in this pic, but it was a beautiful day. 

Adele had a hard time sleeping and was a little sick (why do they always get sick when we travel?!), this was a rare time she was asleep in the crib. 

Esther was so exhausted afterwards too and has been catching up on sleep. She took a nice long nap on the drive home.
