Hike to Bell's Canyon Reservoir

Today Esther was requesting to go to "tall mountain" meaning a hike, so we found one that wasn't snowy and went. Esther did really good and hiked almost the whole way there (.75 miles). Except for one incident where she went running ahead along the trail and there was a super steep drop off along side of her that scared the heck out of us. After that she was confined to a carrier. Also I found this hiking backpack for only $5 a couple of weeks ago at a yard sale. It was not comfortable at all. Poor Leland had to wear it and it wasn't comfortable for him or the girls. We will just stick to the buckle carriers we normally use from now on.
