30 Weeks with #2

It's been a while since I've done a pregnancy update. Not much has changed. I decided I'll do the little questionnaire I did to document Esther's pregnancy this time. 

How far along? 30 weeks today

How big is the peanut? around 15 inches and about 3 pounds :) My belly has measured 5-6 weeks ahead the whole pregnancy but I really feel huge now. 

Total weight gain/loss? I have gained quite a bit recently. About 20 pounds total for the pregnancy. I've been eating slightly healthier than I did with Esther's pregnancy, but I've gained about the same amount at the same rate. I blame being pregnant around the holidays. 

Maternity clothes? Yes, and already outgrowing quite a few maternity shirts because they aren't long enough!

Sleep? Sleep is pretty good. I've had a few nights where it takes me forever to fall asleep, but I usually sleep pretty well. 

Best moment this week?Nothing very exciting happened this week, the best moment was probably just hanging out with Esther and Leland this weekend. 

Symptoms? I don't really have any of the typical symptoms like swelling or heartburn. I have been more emotional. It seems to have just barely hit in the last few weeks. I may have teared up a few times while watching Inside Out haha. 

Food cravings? I've had more of a sweet tooth lately. I made cookies a couple times, and a couple weeks ago I made Leland go get me some rainbow sherbet. 

Food aversions?None anymore, thankfully. 

Gender? GIRL!

Labor signs? Nope.

Belly button in or out? It's out this time which is super weird to me! It stayed in or flat for all of Esther's pregnancy. 

What I miss? Sitting normally. If I ever recline baby lays right against my spine, so I'm always either sitting cross legged on the floor or on my birth ball. 

What I'm looking forward to? Thanksgiving and Christmas! I am also excited for her to come, but I am enjoying being pregnant for now and trying not to wish it away the whole pregnancy like I did last time.

  

Milestones? Third Trimester. 10ish more weeks until she is here. :)

Bump?

Esther doesn't acknowledge the baby in any way, even when we try to talk to her about it, but she she loves babies so I know she'll be super excited once she sees her. She is going to be a great big sister!
