Esther Turns 9

Esther turned 9 a couple of weeks ago. I can't believe how big she is getting! Halfway to 18 and all that. đŸ˜“Esther is our fun loving, adventure loving girl. She is up for anything and is really good at creating her own fun. She loves to move and run and it always bouncing around. She loves animals and is great at taking care of the cats and chickens. She doesn't love schoolwork but she's usually pretty compliant. She does love arts and crafts and she has a real talent for art. She loves to be outside and I can often find her out there pondering quietly or doing a physical activity like jumping on her pogo stick. Esther is a good big sister to our crew and tries hard to keep them in line ha. She is a good example to the younger ones and I love seeing her grow up. As she's gotten older it's fun to have a new type of relationship develop with her. One of shared interests and activities and heart to hearts. Esther brings so much light and laughter to our family, I couldn't imagine us without her.

Esther got the distinguished privilege of having the first birthday at the new house. It was fun to decorate for. For her activity she chose to go to Crystal Hot Springs. She LOVES swimming and was so excited when  I told her there was an outdoor pool open year round, because usually she has to settle for an indoor pool on her birthday. We had a great time there and the kids want to go back as soon as possible.

The "pin the tail on the cat" game she created.
