November St. George Trip

In early November we did a trip with my siblings down to Southern Utah to visit my brothers Adam and Bennett. The kids had so much fun with their cousins and it was so nice to be in the warm weather for a few days!

The kids did relatively well on the drive but it had been a while since we did a long drive so they were out of practice. We all stayed together in a big airbnb in the Desert Color neighborhood (?). The airbnb was really nice and the kids love the pool.

We went to Snow Canyon State Park the first day. We had been before but the girls were too little to remember anything. I guess that's a sign our little family has been around a while! I keep thinking "oh yeah we've done that already" not realizing that it was 5 or 6 years ago and the kids don't remember anything of it! It's okay though it means we can do those fun things again.

A funny lady saw us taking pictures in the canyon and came up to us and told us she wanted to show us a cool trick. She put the phone on panoramic mode and had the kids run behind us to the other side to be in the picture twice haha. So here is her amazing trick shot picture!

We took the kids over to the sand dunes and they LOVED it. We didn't even remember to bring any toys but they made do. It was just slightly chilly but as the time wore on it got warmer. The kids would have stayed way way longer but we had to head back to the airbnb for Moses' nap.

I was about 6 weeks pregnant at the time of this trip so Moses and I did a lot of this while Leland took the other kids swimming. I was SO exhausted and needed a nap every day to semi function.

Leland always loves the babies!

All the cousins!

This picture right after Kennedy bit Moses. 😂 It wasn't a very hard bite. We all laughed because it was so unexpected.

We went to the Thunder Junction park in St. George. We visit this park almost every trip to St George and the kids never get tired of it.

The train was even running this time! The highlight of the trip for these little boys.

Desert Color has a big mad made lake, but it isn't heated so we couldn't swim in it. We did take the kids for rides on the paddle boards though. We are always up for an adventure.

Teaching the kids the art of floating. Leland can't float, can you believe that! So I have to teach the kids while they're young.

I guess I didn't get anymore pictures of the airbnb but it had a big bunk bed room the kids loved. It also had a balcony with a hottub. The kids have already been asking when we are going back!
