Halloween 2019

Is it just me, or does Halloween get more and more exhausting each year? The kids have so many things to dress up for, that by the time it is October 31 I am just about ready for it to be over ha. Still look how adorable they are! These might be my favorite costumes yet. Esther and Baby Boy went as Ariel and Sebastian and Adele and Israel were Belle and the Beast. The girls are obsessed with these princesses so it was very fitting, luckily they had willing little brothers to go along with it!

Esther adored her Ariel wig. I love how she gets such happiness out of the smallest things.

Adele loved being Belle and having Israel be the Beast. Israel hated his costume at first but evenutally he liked the way the hat felt because he kept tilting his head to each direction. 

We carved pumpking a few days before Halloween. With the CRAZY weather this year, Esther's small pumpkin was frozen on the outside and super difficult to carve. More than an hour later we finally got that cat on there. Adele wanted a "scary face" so I tried to come through for her. Before I took this photo they had been playing "witch and cat" Esther put on her "ugliest black dress" to be the witch haha. 

On the 25th we attempted to go to our city trunk or treat with Kylee and Chance and the boys. It was sooooooo crowded though! The line to even get into the trunk or treat  was impossibly long so we just played a few games they had set out and went home. It was a little disappointing but they got plenty of candy later.

On the 30th we went to our ward Trunk or Treat (held indoors because it was so cold). The kids collectively won a prize for cutest costumes and they were thrilled with the recognition. :)

Then on Halloween Day we went to Leland's work for trick or treating like we always do, and then Leland took the girls to a few houses on the street after it got dark. Now we have enough candy to last us until next Halloween!

Also a few weeks ago I took the girls to a Fall Festival at Esther's school. They loved it and Adele was so exited to be included. Leland stayed home with the babies.
