One Month with Israel

Israel is officially one month today.  He is getting chunky and weighs at least 10lbs, probably 11+. He has outgrown all his newborn clothes and wears 3m and size 1 diapers.

He loves his binky, being in the wrap, and milk. He eats every 2 hours during the day and usually has two 4 hour stretches at night. He typically refuses to sleep anywhere but on me or Leland and at night we co sleep with him.  Even the swing, which was my saving grace with Adele, he isn't a fan of. Let's hope he starts liking it soon.

He has the shrillest little scream you've ever heard and employs it regularly in the car. He is pretty sensitive, (he seems to have become more so after his hospital stay) and he screams for a long time if he gets hurt or is startled. He is very strong, just like he was in the womb, and can easily hold his head up already.

Israel is our little sweetheart. I love his cute chubby cheeks. He started smiling right at 4 weeks and it is adorable. We love our little Israel, he brings a little heaven into our home.
