January Days
This month has been busy! I guess I thought there was not much going on in January but by the end of the month we will have had a wedding, a birthday, two therapy appointments, a team meeting, social worker visit, two date nights, dentist appointments for all the kids, 3 Dr appointments for baby boy, a day of appointments at Primary Children's for Esther, 2 WIC appointments, plus school, dance lessons and baby boy's visits. Also throw in a solid two weeks of sickness as a cold passed through all the kids, and I am exhausted. I am scheduling nothing for February and we will do nothing but play outside and homeschool.
On the 3rd was my friend Alba's wedding in Provo. It was great to be able to go and fun to visit Provo again with all the kids. I love Provo. I have such happy memories there from going to BYU and living there in the early days of our marriage and with baby Esther.
Esther loves this tutu and never takes it off even though it is ripped. She also loves Birdy and the fairy wings.
For a date I took Esther to a children's production of The Little Mermaid. It was really cute and she had fun. This blurry picture is the only one I took.
We don't often bring out the play-dough but when we do the girls play for hours and then want me to take pictures of their favorite creations before cleaning up.
Adele is constantly taking my phone and taking pictures of everything. Sometimes she gets good ones mixed in with the 1000 selfies she somehow manages to take in ten minutes.
Sweet Esther still loves to sleep with Fuzzy.
Ever since reading Little House in the Big Woods, Esther has been begging to make snow candy every time it snows. So we finally did. It was very sticky, and the kids didn't really like the molasses candy. It was a fun activity though.
We finally put pictures in the locket Adele got for Christmas. She wanted a picture of Belle and one of her meeting Belle at Disneyland.
The girls started ballet last week. They both had a blast and love it so much. I love it too. It is just at the rec center and really low key, but they do have one recital in the summer. :)
We discovered Israel and Adele do not like sledding. We tried twice because Esther loves sledding and playing in the snow more than anything. Maybe next year the other kids will be able to walk up the hill without crying to be carried. 😑
The snow in the woods was so beautiful and peaceful though.
Today was the first day we were all well enough to go to church at our new time, 9:00. I love 9:00 church. We were all fed and dressed and ready by 8:30!
