2019 Hikes-Wild Rose Trail

Leland's work is doing another hiking challenge this year. Although I've grumbled a little about doing all these hikes in years past, I'm actually excited to do them this year. Now that the kids are a little older and I'm not pregnant or just had a baby, I think it will be a lot of fun to do them as a family. We did our first one on Friday, Wild Rose Trail in North Salt Lake. It a 2 mile loop, a little less if you do the shortcut which we did. The girls did so well. Esther hiked the whole thing by herself and even ran all the down hill. Adele hiked almost to the peak all by herself, she just got tired at the very end. Israel was happy riding on our backs. This hike is also nice because it has a playground at  the trail head, so that was our bribe to help the girls finish.  Afterwards we stopped and got ice cream cones and the girls were thrilled.
