Christmas 2022

Our Christmas eve traditions started with the nativity play by the kids. They LOVE this tradition and talk about it all year long. I wish I would have gotten more pictures. As you can see Julian and Moses were the shepherds, Esther was the angel and Israel and Adele were Joseph and Mary.

Santa came! It's always so fun to set up the living room and wait in anticipation for the excitement of Christmas morning!

Early Christmas morning, we make the kids wait on our bed until everyone wakes up (some of the kids need a little help to wake up ha) and then we all go to the living room together. Rickelle joined us for Christmas this year.

Stocking candy first thing, then we open presents one at a time youngest to oldest.

Then we had to quickly get dressed for church at 9am. We made it on time though! I love going to church on Christmas. It seems so special and fitting. I love singing the Christmas hymns and this ward always does a musical program for Christmas, it is beautiful.

Moses took a great nap after all that excitement.

Adele loved her Susan from Narnia costume.

And her pioneer dress.

Some other favorite gifts the kids got, Esther got a teepee, Julian got a toy rifle and his knight dress ups, Israel got a marble run and Moses got a scooter and helmet.

Christmas Dinner was delicious!

Christmas this year was special because it was our last Christmas in this house. When we put our house on the market in October we didn't know if we would still be here or not, but we were, and I'm kind of glad for that. We have had so many wonderful Christmases in this house and it was fitting to have one more.
