Adele is 6!

 At the end of January Adele had her sixth birthday! Adele at six is a delight. She loves learning, pioneers, nature and babies. She has a very sweet and compassionate personality but also fun and silly. Her personality draws people in and she is always popular wherever we go. She is very passionate and emotional and still has been known to cry when  I have the audacity to get rid of something like her old water bottle or a broken toy. She is a big girl now, she ditched the thumb sucking and lost her two bottom teeth before her birthday. She is beginning to read but her true love is math like her Daddy. 

Her years long preference for wearing only dresses is still going strong. 

On her birthday we opened presents first thing in the morning. She got a fairy outfit for her doll and fairy wings from us. 

Look how excited all the kids are about each other's birthdays. 

Esther made her these fairy wings out of hangers and glitter and they are just so darling. I love the relationship these two sisters have.

Adele requested a fairy party in the woods. We tried to deliver on that wish the best we could, it being the middle of winter and all. Her cake might be one of my favorites I've ever made. 

We surprised her with a new bike too! 

I  invited a few families to her party and only one was able to make it. She still had fun though. I guess most people aren't too keen on the idea of an outdoor party in winter .We will keep trying though! 

Grandma and Ruby were there too and so Adele didn't feel slighted at all. 

The kids made wands out of sticks, had hot cocoa, and explored the park. 

Afterwards Adele wanted to eat at Panda Express. Pandas are her favorite animal, so once she discovered Panda Express didn't actually serve panda she has been very keen on eating there and talked about it for the past year. I'm not sure if it lived up to all the hype but we enjoyed it all the same.
