Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving break we went down to my parent's house in Southern Utah. Esther loooooooves Grandma's house and had been asking when we were going there approximately 5 times an hours for the past month. She was so happy when we finally left, she was so good in the car ha.

We went to a new park in St, George that was super fun and super crowded. We only got there 20 minutes before it closed so we didn't get to play long, but Esther had fun playing for the short time we were there.

After the park we had a little time to kill before our dinner reservation with the family so we went to the St. George Temple. It was so fun to take the girls to this temple since it was where Leland and I were married (almost) 4 years ago. It has been a few years since we have been back to this temple. We were married at Christmas time so it was fun to have Esther see the lights and Nativity at the same time of year.

We were able to sneak away for a very brief date night to DQ. We are happy with any child-free time no matter how short though :)

Esther loved the nice weather and played outside as much as she possibly could. She loved jumping on the trampoline and playing in the sandbox.

We also went to a park in Hurricane and had fun playing there. It was perfect weather, and even though it was "crowded" because of the Thanksgiving holiday, it still wasn't nearly as crowded as the parks here in SLC whenever it is nice weather. Leland commented on how weird it was that it was so quite there. Definitely more peaceful than life in a big city ;)

The only bad part of the trip was the car ride home. We were caught in a huge snowstorm. It took forever to get the road and accidents cleared, which made our car trip home take 8 hours instead of 4. :(

We always have fun visiting family and Esther is already asking when we will go to Grandma's again. She is always repeating the following "We go to Grandma's new house. It takes a long long time. We drive in the car a long long time". I told her we weren't going to Grandma's again until after Christmas. She responded "Christmas be over, we going to Grandma's". Ha this child!
