Book Review: The Light Between Oceans

So I read this book a couple of weeks ago and I really loved and I really hated it, I still can't decide how I feel about it, It's going to be made into a movie this summer so instead of a synopsis here is the trailer. 

I think I mostly liked it but there were some parts where I was so frustrated with the characters. There were other parts that were so sad and heartbreaking I almost cried myself. I really liked how realistic it seemed. After reading other reviews about the book it seems that parents and non-parents have different perspectives on it. Ok, this sounds super vague but I don't want to ruin anything. If anyone has read it I would love to hear your perspective on it! I basically told Leland the entire story just so I could have someone to discuss it with haha. And I am totally seeing the movie as soon as it comes out!
