Blessing Day + 2 Months

I can't believe our baby is already 2 months. It's kinda sad that she isn't a newborn anymore. But then again I do love getting more sleep and how easy breastfeeding is now. She has really turned into the greatest baby ever. Her first few days of life had me pretty worried that she would be a fussy baby, but she was just hungry.

She is pretty much the best sleeper ever. I try to have her on a schedule of nursing, then awake/play time for an hour or so, then sleep, then repeat. To get her to sleep all we have to do is give her the binky, rock her for about 5-10 minutes. then swaddle her and lay her down. She is still usually awake when we lay her down. We just put on the white noise and she falls asleep within about 5 minutes, no crying. It is great. She usually feeds once a night, but she has slept 8 hours through the night a few times. Sadly, I didn't. I kept waking up wondering what was going on and making sure she was still breathing. But in the future hopefully I'll get to sleep too.

Her blessing day was great. A lot of family came and they all loved seeing Esther. Leland gave her a great blessing. We are so blessed to have such a sweet little girl.
